Духовні уроки Ніссана: Сутність і дія
Три напрямки духовної роботи в місяці Ніссан
The month of Nissan in the Chassidic calendar is not only the time of Pesach. Three key dates of this month reveal three fundamental directions of spiritual work, relevant to every Jew at any time of year.
2 Nissan: Eternal Connection Through the Manuscripts of the Rebbe Rashab
On 2 Nissan 5680 (1920), the fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, the Rebbe Rashab (Rabbi Shalom DovBer), departed this world. However, his passing became not an end but the beginning of a new form of connection. The Rebbe Rashab's manuscripts — hundreds of profound maamarim and letters — became a living channel through which his teaching continues to inspire generations of Chassidim. The lesson of 2 Nissan: the spiritual bond with a tzaddik is never severed — it is strengthened through studying his Torah.
11 Nissan: Education — Morality and Connection with the Creator
On 11 Nissan 5662 (1902), the seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe — Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson — was born. One of the central directions of his work was education. The Rebbe emphasized that true education is not merely the transmission of knowledge but the cultivation of morality and the formation of a bond with God. "Education without morality is a sword in the hands of a madman," the Rebbe taught. The lesson of 11 Nissan: every Jew is obligated not only to study but to teach others, creating a generation connected to the Creator.
13 Nissan: "Tracht Gut — Vet Zain Gut" — Bitachon Changes Reality
13 Nissan 5603 (1843) is the day of histalkus of the Tzemach Tzedek, the third Lubavitcher Rebbe. One of his most famous sayings is "Tracht gut — vet zain gut" ("Think good — and it will be good"). This is not mere optimism — it is a spiritual law: sincere bitachon (trust in God) literally changes reality. When a person truly believes that God will send good, that faith becomes a vessel for divine blessing. The lesson of 13 Nissan: thought is not an abstraction but an instrument that shapes reality.
