Many Jewish women approach Pesach preparation in a state of extreme exhaustion. The main mistake is the inability to distinguish between "what I must do" and "what I'd like to do."

Halachic Minimum

You must remove chametz that is in an edible state. Vacuuming carpets and sweeping floors is sufficient; washing curtains is your personal choice, not a legal requirement.

Where to Search

Check all places where chametz could have reached: bags, pockets, cars, office desks, and even toys.

Survival Tip

If you feel overwhelmed, remember — it's better to prepare the house with joy than to sit at the Seder table with a sore back and bad mood.
