The Illusion of Help

When someone does you a favor, they are merely an instrument or messenger through whom God decided to transmit blessings to you. Thanking a person while forgetting about God is like thanking the earth for the harvest while ignoring the Creator who made the seed sprout. Moreover, the righteous are merely "channels" through which God prefers to do good, and they themselves should be grateful for being chosen for this role.

The Ethical Dilemma
