Our Parsha opens with the term ‫ – וַ יְדַ בֵּ ר‬which is clouds of heaven delivered the ‫ׁ ֹהַ ם וְאַ בְ נֵי מִ לֻּ אִ ים‬ ‫ – אַ בְ נֵי־ש‬the fine generally understood to be harsh language, or a strong stones, from the Pishon, while the perfumes and oils were message being delivered, compared to ‫וַ יּ ֹאמֶ ר‬. The Midrash Tanchuma says (Terumah 5): via reference to the Midrash, that an approach of support, as ‫ אֶ לּ ָא מִ בִ ּ זַּת‬,‫ אֵ ין אַ תּ ֶ ם מְ בִ יאִ ין מִ ׁשּ ֶ לּ ָ כֶם‬:‫אָ מַ ר לָהֶ ן הַ קָּ דו ֹׁש בָּ רו ְּך הוּא‬ opposed to one of pressure and guilt, is the proper method to .‫הַ יָּם ׁשֶ נָּתַ תִּ י לָ כֶם‬ use in many other matters as well, including when speaking Hakadosh Baruch Hu said to them: Actually, you are not with donors.
