Поисковые термины: недельная глава, парша, parsha, פרשה, פרשת השבוע. ‫בס"ד‬ ONE POINT from ‫ שיחה א לפרשת תולדות‬,‫לקוטי שיחות חלק כ‬ ~ In honor of ‫שמואל משה הכהן בן פריידא רחל‬, Hashem should grant him a complete and speedy recovery~ Use these words to fill in the blanks: * ‫ * חסד‬love * obvious * resemble * reverence * IN THE PARSHA: The ‫ פרשה‬begins with the words: ‫ – וְ אֵ לֶּה ּתֹולְדת יִצְ חָ ק בֶּ ן־אַ בְ ָרהָ ם‬these are the children of ‫ יצחק‬the son of ‫אברהם‬, ‫ אברהם – אַ בְ ָרהָ ם הֹולִיד אֶּ ת יִצְ חָ ק‬was the father of ‫יצחק‬. ‫ רש"י‬explains that after calling ‫ יצחק‬the son of ‫ אברהם‬the ‫ תורה‬again says that ‫ אברהם‬was the father of ‫יצחק‬, because there were those who doubted that ‫ יצחק‬was actually the son of ‫אברהם‬, so Hashem caused ‫’יצחק‬s face to look exactly like ‫’אברהם‬s, and it became __________ to everyone that ‫ אברהם‬was the father of ‫יצחק‬. LIFE LESSON: The fact that Hashem made ‫ יצחק‬look like ‫אברהם‬, rather than make ‫ אברהם‬look like ‫יצחק‬, teaches us that when we have a choice to accomplish the same thing with either ‫ חסד‬or ‫גבורה‬, we should choose ‫חסד‬. Since they were so different from one another, their outer appearance was also, naturally, very different, and Hashem had to do something special to make ‫ יצחק‬look like ‫אברהם‬. However, ‫ אברהם‬and ‫ יצחק‬had very different personalities, and their manner in serving Hashem was very different.
