When the _________ of ‫ מצרים‬found out that the Yidden were preparing to bring a ‫קרבן פסח‬, and then Hashem would kill the firstborn of ‫מצרים‬, they went to their fathers and to ‫פרעה‬, and asked them to free the Yidden, but they did not agree. (The ‫ פסוק‬that says ‫ לְמַ כֵה מִ צְ ַריִם בִ בְ כֹורֵ יהֶ ם‬can be understood to mean that Hashem struck the Egyptians __________ their firstborn). The greatness of this miracle is that there was a ______________ (“‫ )”אִ תְ הַ פְ כָא‬of evil, where some of the power of ‫ מצרים‬became good. Why do we call this miracle called a ‫?נס גדול‬ ANSWER: Usually, when Hashem saved the Yidden from an enemy, the enemy was destroyed. The firstborn then waged war against ‫ פרעה‬and his supporters and killed many of them. QUESTION: Every miracle is special, and is enough of a reason to call the day “great”.
