The Possuk‫ א‬in this week’s Parsha‫ ב‬tells us that: ‫וְ כָל הָ עָ ם רֹאִ ים אֶ ת‬ ‫הַ ּקֹוֹלת וְאֶ ת הַ לַפִ ידִ ם וְאֵ ת קֹול הַ שֹפָ ר וְאֶ ת הָ הָ ר עָ שֵ ן וַי ְַרא הָ עָ ם וַיָ נֻעּו וַיַעַ מְ דּו‬ ‫“ מֵ ָרחֹ ק‬All the people‫ ג‬saw‫ ד‬the voices‫ ה‬and the fire torches, and the sound ‫ ו‬of the shofar, and the smoking mountain, and the people saw and trembled;‫ ז‬so they stood from afar”.‫ח‬ ַ‫ וְ יׇדּוע‬There is a known inference from this Possuk which is pointed ‫ א‬The Possuk: Shmos (20:15) ‫וְ כָל הָ עָ ם‬ there was no echo as the voice of Hashem ‫רֹאִ ים אֶ ת הַ ּקֹוֹלת וְאֶ ת הַ לַפִ ידִ ם וְאֵ ת קֹול הַ שֹפָ ר וְאֶ ת‬ permeated everything and did not ‫הָ הָ ר עָ שֵ ן וַי ְַרא הָ עָ ם וַיָ נֻעּו וַיַעַ מְ דּו מֵ רָ חֹ ק‬. And this is why the Possuk instruction and as our Sages of blessed says: ‫“ אָ נֹכִ י ה׳ אֱֹלקֶ יָך‬I am HaShem your G- memory say in the Talmud Eiruvin (100B) d” i.e G-d of the individual as opposed to “If the Torah would not have been given ‫ אֱֹלקֵ יכֶם‬which means G-d of many.
