The Climax The climax of this period occurred during this week when we read the parsha which describes how Klal Yisrael entered the midbar, a barren place, without knowing what they would eat or drink and how they would survive, and put themselves entirely in the hands of Hashem. No less, during this special time during the weeks of shovavim, along with the direct call of “shuvu banim shovavim” at a time when Hashem is showering us with such love, a time when he is so pushing us closer let us embrace this opportunity and run towards him. Although we may not be sure how we will reach those heights, let us not hesitate to fulfil our side of the bris and express the chessed neurayich by traveling the spiritual midbar of barren lands, let us fulfil the passuk of “ko amar Hashem, zacharti lach chessed ne’urayich ahavas kelulosayich, lechtech achara
