On the one hand, when speaking about a pursuer, Chazal always use the expression ‫ להרגו חבירו אחר הרודף‬- one who is chasing his friend to kill him – but in this case, even though what he is doing is forbidden, he is not chasing the intended victim but fulfilling his request. There is a pasuk in this week’s parsha that talks about how careful we need to be with widows and orphans: ‫כל אלמנה ויתום לא תענון אם‬ ‫ ענה תענה אתו כי אם צעק יצעק אלי שמע אשמע צעקתו‬- “You shall not persecute any widow or orphan.
