Since _____ is so important, the new family would push off their celebration until after ‫שבת‬, rather than interfere with the other family’s special time. Knowing that sometimes this date would fall out on a ‫שבת‬, they agreed that in that case they would celebrate and bring their ‫ קרבן‬the next day, on Sunday. QUESTION: If their special day came out on ‫שבת‬, why would they push it off and bring it on ________, rather than do it earlier, and bring it on Friday? If the new family would bring their wood and celebrate early, that would be cutting into the time of the previous family. Further discussion:  What is the connection to ‫ – כ' אב‬Yohrtzeit of the Rebbe’s father? A number of families stepped forward and contributed wood when it was needed.
