As a result, ּ‫ וְ הָ יוּ ׁשִ נּ ֵיהֶ ם קֵ הוֹת עַ ל ׁשֶ ׁ ּשוֹחֲ טִ ין אֶ ת אֱ ל ֹהֵ יהֶ ן וְ ל ֹא הָ יו‬, ּ‫הַ ׁ ּשֵ ם עָ לֵינו‬ the Shabbat immediately preceding Pesach essentially ‫ וְ עַ ל ׁשֵ ם אוֹתוֹ הַ נּ ֵס קו ִֹרין אוֹתוֹ ׁשַ בּ ָ ת הַ גָּדוֹל‬,‫ַר ׁ ּשָ אִ ין לוֹמַ ר לָהֶ ם דָּ בָ ר‬ provides bracha for all the Shalosh Regalim of the year and is thus referred to as Shabbat HaGadol. We are taught, in the Gemara and Similarly, both Olelot Efraim 11 and Bnei Yissaschar 12 point Midrash, that ‫ – הָ עוֹ לָה מְ כַ פּ ֶ ֶרת עַ ל הִ ְרהוּר הַ לּ ֵב‬The Olah atones to the teachings in Bava Kama (87a): ‫– גָּדוֹל הַ מְּ צֻ וֶ ּ ה וְ עוֹ שֶׂ ה‬ for thoughts of the heart. Like the one-line ‫בּ ַ ׁ ּשֶ מֶ ן ו ְּר ִקיקֵ י מַ צּ וֹת מְ ׁשֻ חִ ים בּ ַ ׁ ּשָ מֶ ן וְ סֹלֶת מֻ ְרבֶּ כֶ ת חַ לּ ֹת בְ ּ לוּ ל ֹת בּ ַ ׁ ּשָ מֶ ן׃‬ Kiddush, it too is ‘Rabbah’, and thus the name Shabbat ‫עַ ל־חַ לּ ֹת לֶחֶ ם חָ מֵ ץ י ְַק ִריב קׇ ְרבּ ָ נוֹ עַ ל־זֶבַ ח תּ וֹדַ ת ׁשְ לָמָ יו׃‬ HaGadol. ‫צַו אֶ ת־אַ הֲ רֹן וְ אֶ ת־בּ ָ נָיו לֵאמֹר זֹאת תּ ו ַֹרת הָ עֹלָה הִ וא הָ עֹלָה עַ ל‬ ‫מוֹקְ ָדה עַ ל־הַ מִּ זְ בֵּ חַ כּ ׇ ל־הַ לּ ַ יְ לָה עַ ד־הַ בּ ֹקֶ ר וְ אֵ ׁש הַ מִּ זְ בֵּ חַ תּ וּקַ ד ב
