Выпуск: Gal Einai — Bechukotai 5784. Темы: family_education, women_modesty, health_mind, parsha_commentary. Поисковые термины: воспитание, дети, семья, chinuch, family, חינוך, ילדים, משפחה, цниют, скромность, tzniut, modesty, צניעות, здоровье, психология, стресс, health, mental, בריאות, נפש. 3 Together, the ten sefirot and the twenty-two letters are referred to as the “Thirty-Two Pathways of Wisdom.” When written with letters, the number 32 becomes ‫לב‬, which means “heart” (‫ )לֵ ב‬suggesting that the thirty-two pathways of wisdom serve, so to speak, as the heart of creation. Plus, if he is skilled in gematria, an incredible surprise awaits him: After calculating the sum of the words nefesh, ruach, neshamah, chayah, and yechidah (‫)נֶפֶ ׁש רו ּחַ נְ ׁשָ מָ ה חַ יָּה יְחִ ידָ ה‬, he discovers it exactly matches the verse “Bless the Lord, O my soul” (‫הוה‬-‫ )בָ ּ רֲ כִ י נַפְ ׁשִ י אֶ ת י‬upon which the whole interpretation of the five attributes is based! After all, the word for “light” is written with an alef (‫ )א ֹו ָרה‬and “hides” is written with an ayin (‫ !)ע ֹור ֹות‬However, it can be said, according to the Midrash, 15 that in the Torah scroll written by the sage Rabbi Meir—one of the leading sages of the Mishnah period—they found that the words “garments of skin” 16 (‫ )כׇּ תְ נֹות עֹור‬were written with an alef, transforming them into “garments of light” (‫)כׇּ תְ נֹות אֹור‬. His Torah is not something understood intuitively: about Rabbi Meir it is said that “he would enlighten the eyes of his fellow sages in the law,” yet still, “his colleagues could not fathom the depth of his arguments.” Actually, the initials of his name (‫ )מֵ אִ יר‬stand for “the spirit of our life, the Mashiach of God” (‫הוה‬-‫)רו ּחַ אַ פּ ֵ ינו ּ מְ ׁשִ יחַ י‬, which hints at his innovative teachings. Hence, he died and his souled attained its rectification." From the Parashah (‫ ג‬,‫אִ ם־בְּ חֻ קּ ֹתַ ֖י תּ ֵ ֵל֑כוּ וְ אֶ ת־מִ צְ וֹתַ֣י תִּ שְׁ מְ ר֔ וּ וַ עֲשִ ׂ יתֶ ֖ם אֹ תָֽם )בחקותי כו‬ “If you follow My laws and faithfully observe My commandments” (Leviticus 26:3) First Reading: Revealing the Torah’s Inner Dimension Every year, Lag BaOmer (‫)לָ ג בָּ עֹמֶ ר‬, the 33rd day of the Counting of the Omer, and the traditional day of passing of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, falls during the week of Parashat Bechukotai.
