ANSWER: In an earlier ‫ פסוק‬we learn that ‫ – וֵיֵיטֶ ב אֱ ֹלקים לַ מְ יַ לְ דת‬Hashem did ______ to the midwives. QUESTION: According to ‫’רש"י‬s explanation, the reward would actually come about at a later time. Since they feared Hashem, “‫ וַ יַ עַ ׂש לָּהם בָּ תים‬- He made for them _________”. So why does ‫ רש"י‬not simply explain that Hashem blessed the midwives with families? (‫אהרן‬, who was the father of all ‫כהנים‬, and ‫משה‬, a ‫לוי‬, came from ‫יוכבד‬.
