They couldn’t do this for the other wool, because while the goat hair was used in its natural color, the other wool had to be brought after it was already dyed blue, purple, or red. Also, if there was something special about this, why did they only do this for the thread from the goat hair, and not for the thread that they needed from the sheep wool? The women who spun the thread from the goat hair had a special skill, and they did so while the hair was still on the ______.
