Page | 1 Our Parsha begins with a Possuk‫א‬: ‫וְהָ יָה כִּ י־תָ בֹוא אֶ ל־הָ אָ ֶרץ‬ ‫“ אֲשֶ ר ה׳ אֱֹלקֶ יָך נֹתֵ ן לְ ָך נַחֲ לָה וִּירִּ שְ תָ ּה וְ יָשַ בְ תָ בָ ּה‬And it will be, when you come into the land which HaShem, your G-d, gives you for an inheritance, and you possess it and settle in it.” The Possuk continues to explain the Mitzvah of Bikkurim, the Mitzvah of the first fruits,‫ ב‬which the B’nei Yisroel were commanded to perform upon their entry into the land‫ ג‬of Eretz Yisroel. ‫ טו‬Whenever the word ‘‫ ’וְהָ יָה‬is used ‫ יח‬Will choose: Which means, they it implies immediately: The Sifri had to first establish which was the says on this Possuk our Parsha location that HaShem was choosing (Devorim 26:1) where it says ‫וְהָ יָה כִּ י־‬ as His place for a Mishkon at that ‫" תָ בֹוא אֶ ל־הָ אָ רֶ ץ‬And it shall be when time and thereafter a place for the you come to the land": (whenever Beis HaMikdosh.
