The pasuk tells us that she is to bring two korbanos, an olah (burnt offering) and a chatas (sin offering): ּתָבִיא ּכֶבֶׂש, לְבֵן אֹו לְבַת,ּובִמְֹלאת יְמֵי טָהֳָרּה הַּכֹהֵן- אֶל,מֹועֵד-ּפֶתַח אֹהֶל-תֹר לְחַּטָאת אֶל-יֹונָה אֹו- ּובֶן,ׁשְנָתֹו לְעֹלָה- ּבֶן- And when the days of her puri cation are ful lled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb in its rst year for a burnt-offering, and a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, to the kohen (12:6).
