ANSWER: As Yidden, we have Hashem as our ultimate king, and the fear of Hashem alone should make us live our lives the way we are supposed to. QUESTION: Since it is a ‫ מצוה‬in the ‫תורה‬, why was Hashem upset when ‫ בני ישראל‬asked ‫ שמואל הנביא‬to appoint a king? And, if it there was something wrong with their request, why did Hashem _______ it to them? However, when the Yidden asked for a king, they were not on that level.
