Rabbi Barkhan had just had finished several grueling weeks of intensive 'outreach' work in his homeland Russia where he had been born and raised but before returning to his home in Israel he flew to Crown Hights to attend a ‘farbringen’ of the Rebbe on Shabbat and receive a dollar on Sunday before catching his flight home. This answers our questions about what Pinchas teaches us: The greatness of Pinchas was not that he killed 'Zimri' but rather that he was willing to risk everything, even his life, for what was right - just as Rabbi Barkhan dropped everything when the Rebbe told him 'Brazil' and the young man cancelled his wedding for the truth ….
