As the pasuk says: ‫ וַיּ ֹאמְרוּ הָ אֲ נָשִׁים הָ הֵ מָּה אֵ לָיו‬Those men said to him, ‫" אֲ נַחְנוּ טְ מֵ אִים לְ נֶפֶשׁ ָאדָ ם‬We are ritually unclean [because of contact] with a dead person; ‫[ לָ מָּה נִגָּרַ ע‬but] why should we be excluded ‫ לְ בִ לְתִּ י הַ קְרִ יב‬so as not to bring close ‫ אֶת־קָרְ בַּן ה’ בְּמֹעֲדוֹ‬the offering of HaShem in its appointed time, :‫ בְּתוְֹך בְּ נֵי יִשְׂרָ אֵל‬among all the children of Israel?[6] When Moshe turns to HaShem for direction, He responds by introducing the concept of Pesach Sheini, a second Pesach. Once Moshe was directed by ‫ הַ ּקָדֹוׁש ּבָרּוְך הּוא‬to establish the holiday of Pesach Sheini, it became even more clear that one can indeed get a second chance - a second chance to achieve this level of revelation and be “‫ בְּתוְֹך בְּ נֵי יִשְׂרָ אֵל‬- among the Jewish people.” Like it says, “‫ חֻ קָּה ַאחַת יִהְ י ֶה לָ כֶם וְ לַ גֵּר וּלְ אֶ ז ְַרח הָָארֶ ץ‬- One statute shall apply to you, to the convert and to the native-born citizen.”[27] The establishment of Pesach Sheini shows that redemption is an ongoing opportunity to achieve ‫ גִילוּי‬- revelation. As is often said, “It is never too late...on whichever level a Jew may be, he or she can always strive to advance further in his or her relationship with HaShem” even for one who may be considered “‫ ּבְדֶ רֶ ְך רְ חֹוקָה‬- on a faraway path.”[29] Just like every day we have a mitzvah to remember the Redemption by saying ‫ לְמַ ֽעַן תִּ זְכּ ֹר אֶת יוֹם צֵאתְ ָך מֵאֶ ֶֽרץ מִ צ ְַרֽ י ִם כּ ֹל יְמֵי חַ יֶּ ֽיָך‬- so that you may remember the day of your departure from the land of Egypt as long as you live.”[30] So too, every day and every moment is an opportunity to experience ‫גְאוּלָה‬ (redemption) and Pesach Sheini is the proof. We should complain with a heartfelt and true conviction and ask and demand, “!‫ עַד מָתַ י‬-Until when?!!” ‫ עַד מָתַ י אַתָּ ה ֹלא תְ רַ חֵם אֶת י ְרוּשָׁלַ ִם‬- How long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem[32] …?” Let us hope that we will soon receive our answer of, “ ‫ עֹוד תְּ פוּצֶ נָה עָרַ י מִטֹּוב‬- My cities shall yet spread out with prosperity, ‫ וְ נִחַם ה' עֹוד אֶת־צִיֹּון‬- and HaShem will console again Zion - ‫ וּבָ חַר עֹוד בִּירוּשָׁלָ ִם‬- a
