Выпуск: Divrei Shaagasi — [05.02b] Va'eschanan - Reaching Within The Letter of the Law — Va'etchanan 5783. Темы: не определены автоматически. As it says in this week’s Torah portion:[1] ‫ שָׁמֹור תִּ שְׁ מְרוּן‬You should surely keep ‫ֹלהֵיכֶם‬-ֱ‫ אֶת־מִ צְֹות ה' א‬the Mitzvos of HaShem your G-d ‫ וְ עֵד ֹתָ יו וְ חֻ קָּיו‬and His testimonies and His statutes :‫ אֲ שֶׁר צִ וְָּך‬which He has commanded you. Answer: Rashi answers this by saying: “:‫ (וְ)לִ פְ נִים מִשּׁוּרַ ת הַדִּ ין‬,‫ זוֹ פְּ שָׁרָ ה‬:‫ הַ יָּשָׁ ר וְ הַטֹּוב‬...what is proper & good: This refers to compromising and acting beyond the strict demands of the law.”[3] The Talmud learns from the above that one should avoid actions if they are not considered right & good, even if they think they are legally entitled to do so.[4] This is what “acting beyond the strict demands of the law” means. Peace is an integral part of Torah as the Talmud says, “‫ ׇּכל הַּתֹורָ ה ּכּוּלָּה נָמֵי מִ ּפְ נֵי ּדַ רְ כֵי ׁשָלֹום הִיא‬- The (halachos of the) entire Torah was given for the sake of peace.”[5] Lesson: In Tanya, it says “.‫לוֹהַּ מִ מַ עַל מַ מָשׁ‬-ֱ‫ וְ נֶפֶשׁ הַ שֵׁ נִית בְּ יִשְׂרָ אֵל הִיא חֵ לֶק א‬- The second, uniquely Jewish, soul is truly a part of G‑d above.”[6] When it comes to strengthening our bonds to HaShem through the performance of Mitzvos, we don’t need to reach beyond ourselves, but rather inwards - into the G-dly essence of who we truly are, for that is what Torah and doing Mitzvos is all about. “According to the Shulchan Aruch HaRav: One who does not innovate their “Supernal beings come to hear the Chiddushim of Torah from those who dwell Torah learning and merely reviews, even a 101 times, has not fulfilled his in this lower world . Question: What instruction of, “‫ וְ עָ שִׂיתָ הַ יָּשָׁר וְ הַטֹּוב‬- Do what is proper & good…” is different from the first verse where it says: ‘‫שָׁמֹור תִּ שְׁ מְרוּן אֶת־מִ צְֹות ה‬- You should surely keep the Mitzvos of HaShem…? And in the very next verse, it states,[2] ָ‫ וְ עָ שִׂית‬And you shall do ‫ הַ יָּשָׁר וְ הַטֹּוב‬what is proper and good ‘‫ בְּ עֵינֵי ה‬in the eyes of the L-rd ….‫ לְ מַ עַן י ִיטַב לְָך‬in order that it may be well with you...
