For additional sponsorship opportunities, or questions on the project, email me at lessonsinlikutaytorah@gmail.com ‫‪3‬‬ ‫‪LESSONS IN LIKUTAY TORAH – VAYIKRA‬‬ ‫‪Likutay Torah‬‬ ‫לִ קּ וּ טֵ י תּ וֹ ָרה‬ ‫‪-Parshas Vayikra‬פ ָָּּרשַׁת ויִּקְ רַָּׁאַׁ ַׁ‬ ‫דִּּ בּ וּר הַ מּ ַ תְ חִּ יל‬ ‫אָּ ָּדםַׁכִּ יַׁי ְק ִּריבַׁ‪ַׁ 1‬‬ ‫דַּ ף ב עַ מּ וּד ב' ַׁ‬ ‫”‪“Offering Ourselves to Hashem‬‬ ‫(א)‬ ‫‪Chapter 1‬‬ ‫"[וַ יִּקְ ָרא ֶאל מֹשֶ ה‪ַ ,‬וי ְַדבֵּ ר ה' ֵּאלָ יו מֵּ אֹהֶ ל מוֹעֵּ ד לֵּ אמֹר‪ַ :‬דבֵּ ר‬ ‫‪“And He [Hashem] called to Moshe,‬‬ ‫ֶאל בְ נֵּי יִּשְ ָר ֵּאל ְו ָאמַ ְר ָת ֲאלֵּ הֶ ם‪ ]:‬אָ ָדם כִּּ י י ְַק ִּריב מִּ כּ ֶּם‬ ‫‪and Hashem spoke to him from the‬‬ ‫[ ָק ְרבָ ן לה'‪ ,‬מִּ ן הַ בְ הֵּ מָ ה מִּ ן הַ בָ ָקר ומִּ ן הַ צֹאן ַתקְ רִּ יבו אֶ ת‬ ‫‪Ohel Moed2 saying, “When a man‬‬ ‫ָק ְרבַ נְ כֶ ם]‪( ".‬פּ ָ ָרשָ תֵ נוּ א‪ ,‬א‪-‬ב)‪:‬‬ ‫‪will offer from among you an‬‬ ‫‪offering to Hashem, it shall be from‬‬ ‫‪the domestic animals, [but only] from‬‬ ‫‪the cattle or the sheep or goats3, shall‬‬ ‫‪you bring your offering.” (Vayikra‬‬ ‫)‪1:1-2‬‬ ‫‪The Alter Rebbe asks three questions on the wording of this verse:‬‬ ‫‪( 1‬נֶּ אֱ מַ ר ּשַ בָּ ת פּ ָרָ שַ ת וַ יִּקְ ָרא‪ ,‬הַ חֹדֶּ ש‪ ,‬רֹאש ח ֶֹּדש נִּיסָ ן תקע"ב בסעודה ג‪ .‬נוֹסַ ח א – הַ נּ ָחַ ת כְּ בוֹד ְקדו ּּשַ ת אַ ְדמוּ "ר‬ ‫הָ אֶּ מְ צָעִּ י – נ ְִּדפּ ַ ס בְ ּ סֵ פֶּ ר הַ מּ ַ אֲמָ ִּרים תקע"ב עַ מּ וּד ריא‪ .‬נוֹסַ ח ב – הַ נּ ָחַ ת הַ צֶּמַ ח צֶּדֶּ ק – נ ְִּדפּ ַ ס שָ ם עַ מּ וּד רטו‬ ‫(וּבְ מַ אֲמָ ֵרי אַ ְדמוּ "ר הַ זָּקֵ ן עַ ל הַ תּ ו ָֹרה חֵ לֶּק ב עַ מּ וּד תקה)‪ .‬לְ פָ נֵינוּ הוּ א סְ עִּ יפּ ִּ ים א־ג מֵ הַ מּ ַ אֲמָ
