When the train would stop in the station for a longer time, then the Rebbe would go onto the platform, and the Chasidim would arrange a brief “L’Chaim Tish,” where the people of that town 3|P ag e Shabbos Stories for Haazinu 5783 would bring various desserts and hot drinks which they would bring from their homes and offer it to the Rebbe, and if time permitted, they would also bring a note to give to the Rebbe so that he can Daven for them and what they were requesting help with, and they would also speak with him about private matters.
