There is a Possuk‫ א‬in this week’s Parsha‫ ב‬that says: ‫וָאֵ ָרא‬ ‫“ אֶ ל־אַ בְ ָרהָ ם אֶ ל־יִצְ חָ ק וְאֶ ל־יַעֲקֹ ב‬I appeared to Avrohom, to Yitzchok, and to Yaakov.” In ‘Torah Ohr‫( ’ג‬The Chassidishe Parsha‫ )ד‬the Alter Rebbe‫ ה‬brings two ways ‫ א‬There is a Possuk: Shemos (6:3) books of Vayikra, Bamidbor and ‫וָאֵ רָ א אֶ ל אַ בְ רָ הָ ם אֶ ל יִצְ חָ ק וְאֶ ל יַעֲקֹ ב בְ קֵ ל‬ Devorim, Shir Hashirim, Yomim ‫“ שַ קַ י ּושְ מִ י ה׳ ל ֹא נֹודַ עְ תִ י לָהֶ ם‬I Tovim, Rosh HaShonoh & Yom appeared to Avrohom, to Yitzchok, Kippur. It can be said that this idea‫ כד‬is also alluded to in RaShi’s commentary‫ כה‬at the beginning of our Parsha, where RaShi quotes the word of the Possuk “Vo’eira” – I appeared- and says “El Ho’Ovos” - to the Patriarchs, which seemingly is redundant.‫כו‬ ‫ כא‬Ovos: only Avrohom, Yitzchok ‫ כד‬This idea: which is the point of and Yaakov whom we all come from connection of all Jews to the ‘Ovos’ can be called Ovos. P a g e 26 month of ‘Tishrei’ with the blessing of:‫אַ תֶ ם נִ צָ בִ ים קטו‬ ‫“ הַ ּיֹום כֻלְ כֶם‬You are all standing this day”.‫קטז‬ Specifically since we are going to read‫ קיז‬the Parsha of: ‫“ ב ֹא אֶ ל־פַ ְרעֹ ה‬Come to Pharaoh” ‫ קיח‬in which all the spiritual lights are torn open. And the Alter Rebbe expounds, through the prism of a saying from the Talmud:‫ ח‬,‫אֵ ין קֹורִ ין אָ בֹות אֶ לָ א לִ שְ לֹושָ ה‬ ‫“ אַ בְ ָרהָ ם יִצְ חָ ק וְ יַעֲקֹ ב‬One may only call three people Patriarchs; Avrohom, Yitzchok, and Yaakov.”‫ ט‬The reason why these three are called ‘Ovos’ is because they turn the successor of the Baal ‫ ז‬A state: Of Divine revelation in the Shem Tov, the founder of Chassidic state of ‘Voeira’. Page 3 bequeath their qualities to all their descendants for all generations, each descendant according to his capacity.‫י‬ [This means that all the‫ יא‬aspects of being the ‘Ovos’ are bequeathed hereditarily to all their descendants till the last of the generations.‫ יב‬This is because the law of inheritance‫ יג‬is that the inheritor inherits everything;‫יד‬ irrespective of one’s personal status.‫ טו‬Just being an inheritor, qu
