(ibid.) 7) A light that was opened by an Aino Yehudi for the benefit of a Choleh She'ain Bo Sakana may be used by another, healthy Jew to derive benefit from www.HalachaForToday.com לע"נ היקר באדם ר' אברהם אלעזר בן דוד ז"ל והאשה החשובה מרים ריזל בת ר' משה דוב ע"ה 8) The reason for this is that, unlike by food that was cooked, there is no concern that more light will be put on to benefit others besides the Choleh She'ain Bo Sakana, as a light put on in a room for one person can serve a hundred people (Ner L'Echad, ner L'meah). …Continued from previous week 1) Chazal forbade doing things for healing purposes on Shabbos - even things that have no intrinsic transgressing of any of the 39 Melachos of Shabbos - for fear that a person doing such actions will come to grind up herbs and other medicinal components and transgress the biblical Melacha of Tochen, grinding. (See Mishna Berura Siman 318 S"K 11) 6) Food that was cooked by an Aino Yehudi on behalf of a Choleh She'ain Bo Sakana on Shabbos, may be tasted by a healthy Jew on Shabbos, if necessary to determine if the food is OK for the ill person to consume.
