האמת המרה על צדק: למה לרשעים מזל?
למה צדיקים סובלים בעוד רשעים משגשגים

The question of why the righteous suffer while sinners prosper has tormented humanity for centuries. Torah sources offer answers that may seem provocative to our modern sense of justice.
Why Do the Wicked Prosper?
There are several reasons why God gives material blessings to wicked people:
Payment for crumbs of good: If a villain performed even a few good deeds, God rewards them in this world so that in the World to Come they have no claim to reward and are completely destroyed.
Wealth as a trap: Money may be given to a villain to intensify their pride, which ultimately becomes the direct cause of their downfall.
Storage for others: The villain may merely be a temporary "safe," accumulating wealth for a righteous son who will be born to them in the future.
Why Do the Righteous Suffer?
There are also hidden reasons for the suffering of good people:
Atonement: Minor sufferings in this world purify the soul of the righteous, freeing them from the need for punishment after death.
Test of love: God sends trials to reveal the steadfastness of the righteous and make them an example for others.
Passivity: A righteous person may suffer because they did not show zealousness for God and did not protest against the sins of their generation.
Our inability to understand these processes stems from the limitations of human intellect, which sees only a small part of a vast plan. Death is not the end, but the return of the soul to its natural state, where true justice becomes evident.
