Global Challenge: How Can One Person Change the World?
Everyone bears responsibility for the fate of humanity

A Universal Mission
The Jewish people bear a special responsibility — to spread the Seven Noahide Laws among all the nations of the world. These commandments are the foundation of justice, humanism, and recognition of a Higher authority for all of society. The Rebbe repeatedly emphasized: this is not merely a recommendation but an obligation of every Jew. A world in which people acknowledge the Creator and live by His laws is a world ready for the coming of Mashiach. Every conversation in which you share these ideas brings all of humanity closer to its true purpose.
The Influence of Every Individual
Anyone who holds authority — a professor, a businessman, a public activist — must use their influence to strengthen awareness of personal responsibility before the Creator. The Rebbe wrote to presidents, scientists, cultural figures — and to each one he said the same thing: use the platform given to you to bring light into the world. You do not need to be a rabbi to influence people. It is enough to be an honest person who by their example shows that living according to G-d's will is the path to happiness and prosperity.
The Butterfly Effect
One small good deed, one kind word can tip the scales of the entire world toward good. The world is like a single organism — healing one part affects the whole. The Rebbe taught: never say "I am too small to change anything." Every action is recorded in heaven and has eternal significance. One person who lights a candle in the darkness illuminates the path for thousands. G-d created the world so that every action matters — and it is precisely your action that may prove to be the decisive one.
The Path to Redemption
The world stands on the threshold of the Mashiach era. All that is needed is to add a little more light through good deeds. Do not wait for global changes — start with yourself. The Rebbe said: we are the last generation of exile and the first generation of Redemption. Every mitzvah, every act of kindness, every word of Torah brings closer that moment when the entire world will be filled with the knowledge of G-d, "as the waters cover the sea." Act now — because it is precisely your action that may become the final good deed that transitions the world from darkness to light.
